Frequently asked questions

Car shipping questions, answered.

Answers to the questions that help you plan a better vehicle shipment.

Choosing transport

Open carriers expose vehicles to the weather and road environment. Enclosed trailers add shelter. The best fit depends on the car, loading needs, priorities and current equipment availability.

Pickup and delivery are planned around your requested addresses. Access restrictions or limited loading space may require an agreed nearby meeting point.

Yes. Share your route, vehicle, modifications, name, email and phone. We’ll email a tailored modified-vehicle quote within 30 minutes of receiving your request. Equipment suitability is reviewed before booking.

Possibly. Describe whether it rolls, steers and brakes, whether keys are available and whether there is damage or any hazard. Standard transport may not be suitable for every condition.

Quotes and scheduling

Estimated route miles are multiplied by the applicable rate and vehicle quantity. Open transport is $2/mile up to 1,000 miles and $1.80 over 1,000. Enclosed rates range from $2.50 to $10/mile by vehicle value. Non-running rates are $10/mile up to 300 miles and $3 above 300. The rate applies to the whole trip; mileage and final booking terms require review.

No. It saves a request for review. Equipment, availability, price and written terms are discussed before booking.

Dimensions, weight, modifications and loading needs affect suitable equipment and the transport proposal.

The date entered in the form expresses your preference. It becomes a confirmed arrangement only when the specific shipment details are agreed.

Share the actual deadline and whether pickup or arrival is the priority. Options depend on route and capacity; no blanket next-day guarantee is made.

Pickup, delivery and protection

Prepare working keys, remove loose belongings, take condition photos, disclose special handling instructions and confirm the authorized contacts at both ends.

Do not assume that personal items are accepted or covered. Ask about the assigned carrier’s policy before leaving anything in the vehicle.

The authorized receiving person should review the car against the pickup condition record and retain the paperwork. Any new concern should be documented accurately and reported through the applicable process.

Request current information for the assigned carrier’s cargo policy and ask about limits, exclusions, deductibles and claims reporting. A general insurance statement is not a guarantee of coverage for every loss.

Dealerships and multiple vehicles

Yes. Include the releasing and receiving locations, vehicle details and timing. Release authorization, contacts and receiving hours are confirmed during coordination.

That depends on the vehicle mix, origins, destinations and equipment. State whether keeping the units together is a requirement.

Send the expected routes, volume and release pattern so the coordination and available options can be reviewed. A request does not automatically establish reserved capacity.
